Emirates air pocket incident: DGCA priliminary probe ends, CVR under analysis

An Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-200 involved in an air pocket incident near Bangalore, India, was ferried from Kochi International Airport to Dubai April 26 after being grounded two days for a preliminary investigation. The aircraft returned to Dubai following a preliminary investigation by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). A final report on the incident will be issued in the next two-three months, Dr. Nasin Zaidi of DGCA tells AVIATION WEEK.
