Mag report rips apart HAL affairs

(Input, Image Copyright: Strategic Affairs)
The September issue of Strategic Affairs minces no words in exposing the alleged deeds of HAL head A. Nayak. Probably one of the most-hard-hitting reports in the recent times on HAL, Strategic Affairs names private aviation firms in India, who are allegedly getting 'undue favors' from Nayak and his men. The report also quotes MoD sources, expressing concern over the 'growing corruption' in HAL. "Premier investigating agencies have started probing allegations against Nayak, who is reportedly having unusual ties with some private companies," says the report. It also touches upon how a finance head was forced to quit after he rubbed on the wrong side of former HAL head Baweja. The report says that the MoD officials are uncomfortable with the current goings-on in HAL, but doesn't elaborate this point in detail.
Going by the contents of this magazine report, yet another mother of scams is all set to unfold in India! And, A. Nayak will have to definitely do some answering -- at least to steer clear his name -- at a time when he is gearing to hang his boots, finally.
